Very nice place. The rustic dishes are very tasty. Unfortunately the bar will close shortly. When exactly is unclear. However, it is definitely worth a visit.

Like many others, the hut magic enchanted us. The view of the surrounding landscape is great, the kitchen rustic or home-style and very tasty. We had the meat platter as well as the cheese spaetzle and were more than full at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the house is about to be sold and the catering industry will unfortunately not find a successor because it will create living space. Extreme shame, as there is nothing to complain about. Urgent recommendation: come while you can!

Great restaurant! We recommend! It is located in a quiet area in Starkenburg. Parking is good. VERY child-friendly! Fried potatoes, French fries or sausage salad are really gluten-free and also suitable for people with intolerances! The prices for the homemade dishes are reasonable! Maultaschen were homemade, the schnitzel was not from the deep fryer and the sausage salad was beautifully colorful and not just sausage slapped on a plate. TIP for honest cuisine and friendly staff!

A really excellent meal and an attentive, steadfast and friendly service. If the day hadn't been so long, you could have spent hours in the beer garden. Full points !!

Nice restaurant in Starkenburg on top of a small hill. The food is good and offers Flammkuchen as well as sausages. You can pay via card. The wine is pretty tasty.

Just great, Spontaneously explored and excited on the motorcycle tour. Very nice outdoor area where you can sit, very friendly and fast service. Very well-stocked menu, everything fresh, very good portions, great taste and at a great price. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back.

During our Moselsteig hike we spontaneously turned a few meters and took a break here. A nice little restaurant. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the food because I only had a coffee. Fresh waffles were announced on the sign, but unfortunately they weren't available. It's a shame ... it would have been quickly stirred up. There was only apple strudel to choose from, which I unfortunately don't like. That was a little poor for me for a Saturday afternoon. However, my friends liked the apple strudel very tasty and it also looked good. In summer you can safely sit here on the terrace. Addendum to the operator's answer: According to the wait staff, there were no waffles. We all wanted some at the table! You don't even know what day we were with you ... It is bold to say that there were.

Very good food in a lovely and quiet location, definitely recommended! The owner are welcoming the guest and the place itself with fireplace is such a warm atmosphere!
